No.431 The graves of the 47 Akoroshi (the 47 ‘ronin’ (masterless Samurai)) (at Sengakuji)

Sengakuji is exceptionally popular as a historic site. The long, gentle slope at this entry and exit and the fence on both sides of the path did in a way make me realise just how many worshippers visited the temple.
