No.526 Long ago, now, and into the future also

I visited Akasaka and Sendaizaka-ue’s Hikawa Shrine several decades ago, but separately to that, I was overwhelmed by Shirokane’s imposing presence. I hope that it stays this way for centuries and welcomes people visiting the shrine. It is surrounded by groves of trees dense trees and had a quietness to it that made me forget I was in the middle of a city.
