Incidentally, following the War, Seibu Group bought up former princes’ homes and turned them into hotels, including turning Prince Yi’s palace into the Akasaka Prince, and Prince Asaka’s residence into a state guest house. (It is now the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum).
