Takanawa Konjaku Monogatari
Learning the past and present of Takanawa areaDIGITAL HISTORY of TAKANAWA
A reinforced concrete school building, with one basement floor and three stories above ground. This was the sixth school building, and there were 7 classes with 402 students at the time of my graduation. When constructing the new school building, which is the current building standing today, I heard that it took several months longer to demolish this old building because it was too sturdy – it was such a magnificent building. Photographed from the rooftop of Meiji Gakuin University's Hepburn Hall.
